DirectApps, Inc., was
formed in 1995 as a company that develops state-of-the-art custom
applications for businesses in industries ranging from government to
healthcare to technology. Since then, we have excelled in designing and
developing advanced IT solutions that streamline complex business
processes and enable workflow automation. This foundational solutions
deliverable has propelled our company to rapid success and exponential
growth for several years.
In order to meet the increased needs and objectives of our customers,
over the years we have incorporated a diverse array of solutions and new
divisions that fall outside our core application development competency.
These divisions represent a variety of different but related businesses
and services, including ASP/infrastructure-based services such as
hosting and managed services, and our very successful professional
services division that sources IT professionals and staffs large
projects for companies either on- or off-site.
Because of these additional offerings, and because of newly emerging
skill sets and rapidly-changing technologies, we realized that our name,
DirectApps, no longer reflected our current capabilities or our
strategic branding interests. We’d simply outgrown it.
Honoring our legacy while looking to
the future
Over the years, DirectApps has developed very solid, positive
relationships with many important strategic customers. We enjoy powerful
name and brand equity built through trusted relationships, creative
vision and successful projects. So the decision was made to “update” our
name so that we could grow unfettered by moniker limitations, but keep
that part of our name that was the most memorable and powerful - the word “direct.”
An updated, adaptable identity
We are very pleased to announce that our new company name is
Direct Technology.
Because technology is the primary tool we use to solve our client's most
pressing business problems, this name fits perfectly with the disciplines and services we offer.
Regardless of how the company evolves, and with any new offerings we’ll bring to our
customers in the future, the intimate understanding and implementation
of technology will remain at the core of our solutions development
process.
